Betty Feir Ph.D.

Dr. Feir received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas - Austin, a Master of Science - Rollins College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Feir has been practicing in Texarkana since 1978. She completed her clinical internship at the Medical College of Georgia, in the Department of Psychiatry.  Dr. Feir is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers with Hospital Staff Privileges and is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Feir completed post doctoral studies at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S. C. She has been a public school teacher, a college professor, and has been in independent practice since 1978.

Dr. Feir has been a consultant to various industries, designing and implementing Employee Assistance Programs, and has been a Medical Expert for Social Security Disability, Office of Hearings and Appeals for over 10 years. She has been an expert witness in various court cases involving personal injury cases and family law cases.

Dr. Feir is licensed as a Specialist in School Psychology in the State of Texas and consults to various school systems. She is a member of the Texas Psychological Association. Dr. Feir holds a Proficiency in the treatment of Psychoactive Substances and Alcohol through the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Feir is a Rotarian, and a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary Club, and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She serves as a board member of various boards in the community and participates in a number of community organizations.

Erin White Murrah L.P.C. - Counselor

Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas.  She is a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor and has been certified in the past as a National Certified Professional Counselor.

Erin is experienced in providing counseling services to groups and individuals regarding crisis intervention - both male and female. Erin is also experienced in providing counseling for anxiety, depression, personality disorders, marital discord, assertiveness training, improving parenting skills, as well as teaching coping skills.

Jennifer Aslin M.S.
- Counselor

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Texas Baptist University - Marshall, TX and her Master of Science - Counseling degree from Texas A & M University - Texarkana. She is licensed with the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Jennifer treats children and adults. She provides therapy for depression, anxiety, and numerous other emotional issues. She also provides behavior management for children and parents to build their children's strengths and equip the parents for addressing emotional and behavioral issues.

Suzanne Gann, LCSW
-Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist

Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science in Education at Stephen F. Austin State University and a Masters Degree in Counseling – East Texas State University, Texarkana.  She received additional hours toward her licensure in Social Work and received her License in Social Work in 1987 and became Board Certified as a Clinical Practitioner in 2001.  She has been practicing counseling and social work on a clinical level in private practice and within a variety of inpatient treatment facilities and hospitals since 1981.  She is a Certified Teacher, School Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social
Worker in Texas, and she is a long time member in good standing with the National Association of Social Workers.

Suzanne has experience working in various treatment facilities and counseling specialties, such as  individual and group counseling, family therapy, individual counseling for stress reduction, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, parenting skills, and senior care regarding special needs in the elderly focused on depression, death and dying for patients and their families.  Additional areas of experience include children and adolescent special needs, parent guidance regarding alcohol and drug issues, education, adjustment disorders, and completion of Home Studies and court testimony for the court systems in custody and adoption causes.

Makesha Parrish, LPC

Makesha Parrish, LPC, Christian Counselor received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational/Interpersonal communications and her Master of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling from Oral Roberts University. While pursuing her education, she had the opportunity to work with students at the campus student counseling center. In addition, she served as a leader with the Community Outreach Program at ORU as a mentor to disadvantaged youth in the community. Ms. Parrish's areas of expertise are in Christian Counseling and Faith based counseling for individuals, couples, and families. She sees both children and adults, and has experience in marriage counseling from a faith based approach. Ms. Parrish is experienced in the treatment of stress, anxiety, and depression for children and adults as well as a variety of other disorders. Ms. Parrish assists young adults in career choice, practical decision making, and stress management often from a Christian perspective.
